Empty Products #1

So apparently I'm now also one of those people who keep their trash so they can photograph it later on and stick it in a post. Is this some kind of initiation rite into the beauty blogger world? Anyways- trash hauling, here we go!

#1: Soap& Glory Flake Away:
I bought this massive tub of body scrub last October when I visited London, so I guess it's safe to say it lasted me a pretty long time. It has the typical Soap& Glory scent which I love- you'll know it if you've tried any product of the brand really, it's all pretty similar. The scrub itself has just the right level of abrasiveness in my opinion, and as already mentioned it smells divine- if Soap& Glory was cheaper and easier to obtain in Austria (you can get it in Douglas, should you be a fellow Austrian!), I'd instantly rebuy it.

#2: Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer:
After I've finished a similar concealer by KIKO (which I also liked but had a little less product in it), I wanted to try out the Maybelline Fit Me concealer because I've heard great things about it (apparently it's a drugstore dupe for the NARS creamy concealer, I unfortunately wouldn't know, no NARS for me in Austria...), and I also really like it. Great coverage, works for both under the eyes and on blemishes, and is pretty cheap and easily available. Instant rebuy!

#3: LUSH Tea Tree Water:
I've just written a post about my favourite LUSH products a few days ago which you can read here, and I also mentioined that the Tea Tree Water is basically one of my absolute favourite LUSH products. Basically, my favourite toner, and this is an old bottle I just saved because LUSH similar to MAC has this "bring five empty pots back and you'll get a free face mask" deal going on. I've obviously already stocked up on a new bottle, so yes ... always rebuying, it's a staple.

#4: The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:
Normally I buy the cheaper version of this from the drugstore, but I also got this on the same London trip because The Body Shop UK always has these nice 3 for 2 deals going on. Tea tree oil is a magical essential oil with antiseptic properties that makes it perfect for treating blemished skin. You kind of have to get used to the smell, but I'm at a point where I've been using this stuff for years and I really like the scent now. I always like to have a bottle of tea tree oil at home, but if you'd like a great alternative that works in a similar way but is less harsh, try LUSH's Grease Lightning instead.

#5: Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector:
This is the matte version of Garnier's BB Cream, and I have to say I like it much better than the original formula. It has a pretty runny texture (much different to the original formula), but with a flat top kabuki it's easy to work into the skin and leaves a nice, matte finish. It's basically my go-to foundation in the summer months, I've just not rebought it yet because I also have the original formula one rolling around that waits to be used.

#6: The Body Shop Tea Tree Body Wash:
Yet another tea tree product! I've been using this pretty regularly for 2-3 years now (my skin is really anything but nice, ugh), and I feel like it does help containing blemishes. Other than that, it doesn't smell as heavy as pure tea tree oil, just really fresh which is also nice for in the shower. I haven't rebought it yet, but I probably will at my next trip to The Body Shop.

In case you haven't noticed a certain pattern emerging here, I really dig tea tree products! ;)
