The Five Product Face

... or makeup for lazy people who still want to look kind of put together.

Don't get me wrong, I love doing my makeup and if I have to choose, I skip breakfast in order to do my makeup properly in the morning (also because I like to sleep for as long as possible...)- but sometimes a quick fix is just so convenient.

So here's what I put on my face when I need to be quick yet efficient:

BASE:

- Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector: It's summer and my skin thankfully recovered from an allergic reaction that caused red itchy patches all over my face (such a lovely sight..), so I generally like to stick to BB creams. This one by Garnier is the matte version they do, and the coverage is actually quite nice for a BB cream (and buildable, too), so it's perfect for the warmer months. Today I was feeling extra lazy, so I used it as an undereye concealer as well, and it worked out just fine. I didn't even bother with powder, because this stuff is really matte as it is and my skin is pretty dry right now anyways.

- NARS Laguna Bronzer: A cult favourite which is totally justified in my opinion. I was so excited when I finally got my hands on this baby at the beginning of this year during a trip to London (can I go back?), and have already hit pan after using it for the last six months. It's love. ... I don't do blush let alone highlighter on a lazy day, but I do like to give some definition to my face, and Laguna is just so effortless and always looks good.
It works fab as an eyeshadow as well by the way, which I also used it for today.

EYES:

- MAC Fluidline Gelcreme in Deep Dark Brunette: I'm obsessed with eyebrows, and this is a recent purchase I already fell in love with. It applies like a gel eyeliner for the brows, and once it sets it won't budge which is exactly what I'm looking for in a good brow product.

- Catrice Glamour Doll Mascara: As already mentioned, I used my Laguna bronzer as an eyeshadow to define my crease a bit, but other than that, I just stuck with mascara. I'm not overly picky when it comes to mascara and I don't really see the point in investing a lot of money in a mascara that will dry out fairly soon anyways, so I usually stick with drugstore offers, and Catrice works fine for me. Plus, it's really cheap so that's always a pro.

LIPS:

- MAC Matte Lipstick in So Chaud: Nothing better than a bright, bright lipstick in order to trick people into thinking you actually made an effort when you actually didn't. When I'm in the mood, I quite like wearing orangey shades like So Chaud or Lady Danger, and today was one of these days.
