Weekend Skincare Bag

I have to confess, I actually didn't plan a post for today and played with the thought of slacking a bit, but as I was packing for going to my hometown for the weekend (there's a bank holiday on Friday in Austria, so it's a long one!), I thought to myself ... why not throw together a quick post about the skincare products I actually take back and forth with me? So here we are!

#1: LUSH Breath of Fresh Air Toner: I alternate between two Lush toners, one being my absolute favourite, the Tea Tree Water, and this one which I also really like. Since my Tea Tree Water bottle is the big one (250ml) that Lush offers and I have a smaller one of Breath of Fresh Air, this one usually makes the cut into the weekend skincare bag! Great in the morning to wake up a tired complexion!

#2: Dr. Scheller Organic Jasmine 24h Moisture Care: My moisturizer of choice that I use both day and night- it's fairly new, but it has already made it into my July Favourites! Surely also because of that heavenly scent...

#3: LUSH Grease Lightning: Since pesky zits tend to show up when you least expect them, I like to take this bottle of Grease Lightning with me as an emergency spot treatment- it reduces redness and dries out spots really fast, plus it smells better than pure tea tree oil (which I used a lot before I found out about this nifty little product!).

#4: The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub: I feel like I have been using this face scrub for ages, and I see no reason for changing up this habit anytime soon. I like the level of abrasiveness this stuff offers (it's not to mild and not too harsh in my opinion, just right) as well as the fresh scent. Tends to help waking you up if applied in the shower! ;)

#5: Balea Aqua Serum: Balea is the store brand of the German/Austrian drugstore DM, which offers a range of budget-friendly bargain products that work really well for me. This serum costs about 3€ and has really helped my skin when it was completely dry after my allergy phase in the early weeks of summer, and even though my skin has gotten much better again, I still like to keep this in my routine. This actually has a little pump (so practical!) and soaks super-fast into the skin, so should you be German or Austrian I can only recommend this little thing!

Aaand that's all for today's quick skincare post. Have a lovely day! :)

  1. I hear so many great things about the LUSH Grease Lightning spot treatment! Everything you use looks great. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks for your comment, Nicole!
Grease Lightning really works great, and I have to say you get your money's worth with this product- because even though the bottle is so small, you only need the tiniest amount of actual product so it lasts you a really long time! :)
