I'd have so many more I could put in here, but I tried to keep it as early 2000-ish as possible. I know, Self Esteem is ten years older than most of the others, but somehow it snuck its way into my emokid playlist, what can I say. (I totally wanted to add more 90's Green Day stuff as well, but I digress...)
I just noticed again how hilarious all of Panic! at the Disco's song titles are, especially from their first album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Ah, good times.
Also, I feel like I should mention My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade album, but that might just get its own post in the future since I am a sucker for concept albums ... and this one was kind of the epitomy of the theatrical emo phase of the early 2000s! ;)
Did you ever listen to that kind of music? If yes, do you still like to go back to it from time to time?
Awww, to be young again <3 Off to listen to some of those beauties now ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha there'd be so many more I could add, but I wanted to keep this rather short.. ;)
