Autumn Fragrance: Burberry Brit

I haven't posted about perfume before, but I guess there's a first for everything. Since most posts lately have been Autumn related, I though why not include a fragrance into the mix ... and here we are!

First of all, I'm not that much into perfume- mostly because they're so freaking expensive and I hardly buy them for myself and obviously rather like to receive them as gifts; but they're never really on top of my list when somebody asks me what I would like for a birthday/christmas/whatever, so my collection is very small.

The one perfume I've liked for some years now is Madame by Jean Paul Gaultier, but in my opinion, it does smell really fresh and Spring/Summer like. Earlier this year however, my mum gifted me a small bottle of Brit by Burberry- which I got really excited about! Since the scent is a lot heavier than Madame for example, I think it's perfect for the Autumn/Winter season, and well ... the Burberry bottles just look so classic and chic, so I like to have it on display on my vanity.

Notes: Italian Lime, Icy Pear, Green Almond, White Peony, Sugared Almonds, Amber, Mahogany, Vanilla, Tonka Bean.

This is is definitely a scent I would repurchase when I run out of it (my mum actually has another bottle she might give to me if I asked her about it ... lala), since it's sweet but not sickly and fresh at the same time. One other scent I would just love to own is Si by Armani- mostly because my friend Eva (shoutout to you!) has it and always smells wonderful when she wears it ... but oh, that one is also so expensive. Sigh.

What's your favourite Autumn scent?

  1. Oo I have not seen this perfume before. I am going to have to have a spray when I am near a counter. I am the same, I rarely buy perfumes due to the expense, plus I tend to get a favourite and just use that time and time again. The bottle really is pretty. I hope your mum lets you have the other bottle!
