Simple Brownie Recipe

Another first on my blog: a recipe
I have never posted a recipe before, but the brownies I baked yesterday were just too delicious not to share! It's pretty straightforward and simple as well- I've tried to make them for the first time and they turned out perfectly chewy and delicious, not to mention super-chocolatey!

250g sugar
200g dark (baking) chocolate
200g butter
150g flour
175g chopped walnuts/hazelnuts
3 eggs
1 sachet vanilla sugar
a pinch of salt

1. Whisk together the eggs, the sugar and vanilla sugar until well combined.
2. Melt together the chocolate and butter in a double boiler until it's smooth, then let it cool down before whisking it into the sugar and egg mixture.
3. Add your flour, chopped walnuts or hazelnuts and a pinch of salt into your brownie batter.
4. Pour your batter into a baking tray and have your oven preheating to 175 °C.
5. Bake for about 25 minutes and your brownies should come out perfectly chewy and delicious!

Try to let them cool a bit after they're done baking- I know, it's hard. They were still a little warm when I cut them into squares and I just couldn't resist munching down one of them instantly. And help myself to another one 10 minutes later. Oops.

As already mentioned, this is pretty easy and straightforward, you don't have to be a domestic goddess (or god, for that matter) to make them; but it's still so satisfying when you dig into something you made yourself, especially if it's a decadent little sweet treat! :)
